You're Interested - What's Next?

Typically, my process works like this:

  1. You contact me by email or telephone to express your interest in hiring me as your virtual assistant.
  2. We briefly exchange some very basic information, and we set up a time for an Initial Consultation by phone.
  3. During our Initial Consultation, usually about 30-45 minutes, I will have a number of questions for you in order to help you tell me about yourself and your business. My aim will be to have a clear idea of the type of assistance you need and the ways I can help you. This is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you have about my experience, skills and expertise, and how I work with clients, including the specifics of working "virtually".
  4. If we both feel we are a good match as client and virtual assistant, we agree to a Trial Period of 5 hours. (Of course, a Trial Period isn't a requirement.)
  5. We sign an Agreement and I invoice you for the agreed Hours Per Month.
  6. You assign tasks to me and I complete them and report back to you, and we hold regular short meetings (usually by phone) to stay well-connected.
  7. When the 5-hour Trial Period is finished, if we both want to go forward, we agree on a monthly block of 20 or more hours, I invoice you for the next month's hours, and we continue to work together.
