What Are the Benefits For You in Working with a Virtual Assistant?

1. Because I am an independent contractor and not an employee, you do not have to pay for or deal with:

  • FICA, Social Security, Unemployment or Worker's Compensation
  • Providing benefits such as vacations, holidays and sick days, medical insurance or retirement plans
  • Complying with OSHA and other Federal and State laws
  • I pay my own taxes, provide my own insurance, and handle all paperwork associated with my employment with you, and I am responsible for providing myself with my own "personal days", completely off-the-clock.

    2. You do not have to provide office space, furniture, a computer, phone service, Internet service, a printer, a fax machine, a photocopier, paper or any other office supplies. These are all covered by my fees.

    3. As a independent contractor, I work only as needed (within our contract arrangement), in contrast with an employee who is on-the-clock for regular hours whether you need him or not. This too means direct monetary savings for you.

    4. I manage my own work and require no supervision.

    5. I aim for long-term business relationships with my clients. However, if for any reason you no longer require my services, the transition will be far simpler than it would be with an employee.
